Faculty development on our campus was historically limited to live interactive workshops. Attendance was low and personnel resource expenditure high. Our goal was to expand with asynchronous, on-demand learning opportunities. Our objective was to utilize a platform that would facilitate, track and document faculty particiation, and help meet accreditation guidelines. All production had to be achieved on a $1000 budget. We created 14 short (5-minute) Flash™modules with voiceover and interactive buttons/links. The modules were part of a mandatory course and were released through the learning management system. This is an example of one module. We analyzed learning outcome assessment data and satisfaction data.
